Cham-Bière

In
mid-July, the MBC in partnership with the Chamonix Club Des Sports
host the biggest party of the summer, “Cham-Bière”.
It’s an annual outdoor festival celebrating craft brewed beers
made by the independent breweries in the Rhone-Alpes Region. |
| At
Cham-Bière you can discover many traditionally brewed ales
and lagers, fruit beers, and even some spiced beers. At Cham-Bière
there are 10 breweries present with over 35 different beers in all.
There is also food and live music at Cham-Bière, the MBC giant
BBQ is fired up and there are plenty of hamburgers and veggie burgers
for everyone, as well as fireworks, and a live band or DJ for your
entertainment. |

Cham-biere
is always on the last day of the “World Climbing Championships”
held each summer here in Chamonix, and is part of the closing party.
Cham-Bière starts at 3PM and goes until 4AM. After the outdoor
festivities end, the party continues indoors at the MBC untill ??? |
| At
Cham-biere 2003, we served 1800 liters of beer to Chamonix. In 2004
we served 2000 liters, and in 2005 we served over 3500 liters. At
Cham-biere 2005 we changed the rules a bit, we went till 4AM outside
and 6AM inside! In 2006 and 2007 we stuck to that plan and had a huge
party and served a whole lot of beer. |
